This letter is to bring you up to date about our efforts to sponsor another spiritual expo.
Due to a contractual agreement with a subcontractor the New Hope Enterprise Fire Hall can not host any events for the 2021 season. The hall is available, but the parking lot is not. We have repeatedly tried to find an adequate facility in the Bux-Mont area, but to no avail. We do know that the Oaks Philadelphia Convention Center is available for the Oct 22,23,24 dates; however, because we are a small organization we can not come up with the necessary funds to secure that facility.
With all that in mind, we are soliciting your thoughts and suggestions concerning this facility or alternatives for 2021. We do our best to run a good event for all to enjoy physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and economically. We thank all of you who have participated in the past and who helped make the Society for Metaphysical Enlightenment fairs a success. If we are unable to do a fall Expo, we still intend to do our Solstice Expo and Holistic fair in 2022.
Also as mentioned in previous newsletters, we are constantly looking for new SME people to help and direct the mix and quality of our programs, vendors, and services. For that, we do seek your involvement with our event and our efforts to make them better, more enjoyable, and successful to all involved. Also, we foster our ideas of higher consciousness and spirit by working with and inviting other spiritual groups to participate with us.
Our SME organization is a small, non-profit group who supports a number of local charities and interfaith churches. We make very little money after advertising and expenses, but we would like to think we support spiritual growth and higher consciousness by sponsoring these events and spiritual charities. In this endeavor we think that your participation also helps to foster those same goals.
